TRAVEL

The venue and surrounding towns are accessible from either Bari or Brindisi airports - both just over an hour away. Because it's a bank holiday weekend, we're strongly recommending that people make booking flights priority no. 1.

Seriously, do it now.

Worth noting that, if direct flights are tricky to those airports, there are plenty of options to either connect via places like Rome and Milan, or fly into Naples, grab an espresso and jump on a train. Why not hey? Andiamo indeed. Taxis and shuttles from Bari/Brindisi are readily available, although cars also be pre-booked - potentially for a better rate. Google is your friend here.

Hire cars are reasonable and there's no Uber in Puglia, so if you've a driver in your crew, we'd say grab a car. For those without a wheelman, we will be providing details for shuttles so you can organise getting around. And please rest assured that we'll be taking care of these on the day of the wedding so you can get on the grappa, pound the primitivo etc - if that's your bag.

ACCOMMODATION

Puglia genuinely is one of the lushest parts of Italy so we sincerely hope that many of you will be planning a longer stay. We also know there will be some smash-and-grabs, but either way, there is accommodation to suit your needs.

Of the local towns, Martina Franca has a cute historic centre and plenty of options for places to stay. Alberobello is the archetypal Puglian gaff - one of the most Instagrammed spots in the country because of it's trulli-lined streets. Locorotondo is also very picturesque and a touch more upmarket. See the Explore section for more details but remember - it's Southern Italy - you can't really go wrong.

If you're able to team together and book in groups, there are lots of smaller masserias that can accommodate anywhere from 10-20 people. Villas are the most logical place to look if you're 5-10. And if you're travelling solo, hotels are a good option; equally we'd be more than happy to try and help you find a bigger group to join so please don't hesitate to let us know.
